THE VOIDThe void is a state of consciousness you can go into
to expand beyond your current limits, let go of old
things, and move to your next level of growth.
In the void, you leave behind familiar structures,
habits, thoughts, behaviors and attitudes and go deep within to create new ones that match your higher
vibration.

In this state you can receive insights and do much
inner work. It can last for minutes, hours, days, or even months.
You will experience the void throughout your spiritual journey. It is your ability to live
near the void, go into it at will, and make it your
friend that will assist you in growing even faster
and with more joy.

Imagine a bird flying happily on a jet stream. It
looks upward, and sees a higher flow that it wants to join. It begins to leave its familiar path and fly
to the higher one.
However, conditions between the two paths aren't certain. It may hit turbulances and fall below the original path temporarily.

It may be carried way above the higher path or find
that the space between has very little air flow,
making normal flight more difficult. By leaving the
familiar jetstream, the bird learns much about
itself.
It discovers more about flying and the conditions that can affect its flight. Eventually it is able to stabilize and fly easily in the higher flow. It's experience is similar to what you encounter when you are in the void.

The void occurs when you are letting go of an aspect
of your personality self that longer fits who you are becoming.
It represents a new level of surrendering
your personality to the guidance of your Higher Self; it is the birth of a new part of your Higher Self
into this reality.

THE VOID IS A STATE OF TRANSITION AND CHANGEYou will experience the void again and again as you
grow. In this state you may feel that your life is
changing, rapidly, something new is coming, or your
foundations are falling away, leaving you nothing to
hang on to.
You may feel like something is happening inside but not see any changes in your life yet. It
is not a comfortable place for your personality,
which likes things to be certain and secure.

The void can come when you are between projects, have just had your last child leave home, or have quit a
job and do not yet know what to do next. one of your close friends may have left or you need to move or
find a new home.
It sometimes feels like you are entering a new world where the game is played differently and you don't know the rules yet.Every void is marked by issues of the heart. You
will find yourself asking deep questions, such as,
"how can I love and accept myself more? Am I
loveable? Who am I? Can I have what I want? What would I love to do with my life?" You may find that you feel softer and more loving toward others or uncertainty. You are raising your vibration,
expanding beyond your old habits and patterns. The void can make you feel much less social than
normal. If you have always been relatonships, you
may find yourself living alone or without a primary
relationship.
You may feel more distand from your husband or wife, even while you feel increased compassion and love for him or her.In the void you may have less desire than usual for
intimate physical contact, which intertwines your
aura with another's.
During the time of the void you are clearing your aura of other people's energy as
part of the process of raising your vibration. You may feel empty or lonely inside even when
surrounded by people. The desire to be alone, even
feelings of lonliness are reflecions of your
deepening desire to connect with your Higher Self.In your deeper wisdom, you know that your connection
to others is not a substitute for for a deeper
connection to your Higher Self. As you spend time
alone, you get to know yourself better,It is a time to know your feelings and thoughts, to think about what you want to do with your life. As you begin to know and make friends with yourself, your feelings of loneliness decreaseYou may feel physically different--over-energized or
wanting to sleep more than usual. Sleep provides
time for inner work to take place, and you may need
more sleep to integrate all of the internal changes
going on.
Some people worry because they have less
energy than normal and can't explain why.If you don't honor the need for rest, you may find
yourself getting minor illness to keep you quiet.
Some people create back pain or various physical
injuries that require thme to take time off from
their work and give them time to rest and think. In the process of raising your vibration, you
sometimes pass through a period of confusion.
In the void the new is not yet established and the old hasn't left; they exist side by side. This can
create confusion as you sort things out.Your moods may be inconsistent. You may feel more
emotional than usual, or feel very little emotion
about anything. As your internal work grows more intense, your mind may feel different. The void is a time when you are learning to think in new ways.
Because of this, it may be harder to think in the old ways.
You might have moments when you have trouble
thinking clearly, or you may forget things you
learned the day before. You may wonder if you are losing your memory. You
may have more trouble than usual making quick
decicions or knowing what you want.
Yet, there will be periods of great clarity with new insights and ideas pouring through. You may even have times when you remember long-forgotten events from your past.In the void your thoughts may be different than
usual, as if you are measuring things by a new
standard. It is as if you are shining a powerful
light on your life and seeing things in a new way.
You may be examining everything in your life,
deciding what to keep and what to let go of.
You may even feel that things are falling apart or that things you took for granted aren't working the way they used to.There comes a time when the vision of where you
want to be requires you to let go of something you
created. The void teaches you about your
attachments.
It is a time of examining your
relationships, feelings, attitudes, and values,
replacing them that no longer serve you with ones
that do.

NOT-KNOWING CAN BE THE DOORWAY TO TRUE
KNOWINGThe void is a time of not knowing. It may feel like
a state of not-doing, of nothingness. it is only
when you stop knowing in your normal way and
experience not knowing that you can connect with new
knowledge. This state of nothingness and not-knowing is a state
of being rather than doing, of stillness and silence.
Many of you fear the void because it offers neither
a solid foundation nor a clear identity. What you
have identified with may be changing to allow you to
grow into a greater identity.Allow yourself to go into the void a few minutes each day by silencing your mind. Let yourself explore the nothingness.
Silence is the doorway to greater knowledge, and you will discover a richness of energy beyond description rather than "nothing" Each time you go into the void you will come out at a higher level.THE VOID GIVES YOU MANY CHOICES AND NEW
POSSIBILITIESAs your connection to your Higher Self grows
stronger, you draw to yourself many new opportuties
that match your higher vibration.
When you are in the void, any decision you make will have far-reaching effects, for you are at the intersection of many probable futures. Let go of all your preconceived ideas and explore your expanded range of choices

Take time to fantasize and daydream. You may find
yourself thinking of the future often and of how
things could be diferent.
Even if you can see no wway yet to create the life you want, continue to imagine your ideal life. Your visions are creating the future, and you will draw to yourself the circumstanaces to bring about your visions. As your raise your vibration, you will probably find
yourself in the void more and more often. You can be experiencing the viod in one area of your life and
not others.
For instance, your job might be stable amd certain while your relationship with someone may be undergoing a big change.

If you are experiencing the void in any area in your
life, be loving to yourself. Don't worry if no
direction has yet revealed itself.
You are raising your vibration rapidly in this area, doding much inner work, and opening your heart to love yourself more.
As you do, new circumstances will start appearing that are better than what you had in the past.
Love and accept your present circumstances
too, for loving where you are will let you reach your new vision more quickly. There is always a turning point while you are in the
void. There comes a moment at which a deep inner
note is sounded. In a note of determination, of stronger will, of a
decision that will lead you in a new direction.
There is a moment when a shift takes place, when you
become clearer about what you want. Your self-love
is greater, and you know within that you are ready to start creating what you want.At first you may be faintly aware of this new
decision and what action to take to carry it out.
Take the first steps that appear to you and the next
steps will come. You then leave the void, the time
of insights, and new possibilities, and begin the
stage of carrying out your insights.
You are like the bird that has found the higher jetstream: you are flying in it and learning where it takes youOne man found out that he had to move because the
home he was renting was going to be put up for sale.
He hadn't planned on moving and felt displaced. Then his closest friend took a job in another state and
moved away.
It felt like everything in his life was
falling apart. at the same time he finished a large
project--a book--on which he had been working and was wondering what to do next.

Instead of focusing on how uncomfortable he felt, he
focused on the new opportunity he had to create
better things. He began to view the uncertainty as having challenge and excitement in it and he usedthis time to get clearer about what he wanted. He pictured himself living in a home that was even better than what he had and shortly found a wonderful place to live.He started meeting people and made several new
friends whose company stimulated him. He stopped
trying to think about what new book to write, and as
he was relaxing one day an idea came to him that
formed the basis for another book.As he left the void and moved into greater certainty, he began living a life that was much bigger and more nurturing to him than the one he had before. You don't have to wait for things to leave your life
to use the opportunity present in the void. Whenever you feel an inner sense that things don't quite fit
who you are any more, whenever you want to
contemplate a new direction, simply get quiet and
venture into the world of probable futures.Imagine living out different possible futures. Challenge yourself to think positively and expansively. learn to love uncertainty and embrace the new

LIVING IN THE VOID CAN BE STIMULATING,
CHALLENGING, AND EXPANSIVEDon't rush into a decision just to have things more fixed and secure once again. The universe works in
perfect ways, and there are good reasons if things
are changing.
You can leave the void when you decide that you are ready and have made important inner
choices.
The void, with its lack of structure,
certainty, and concrete direction asists you in
taking major leaps forward. As you come out of the void, you will find yourself
wanting to reconnect with people, perhaps in new and
more exciting ways.
You will feel more certain about what you want and have a greater sense of purpose.
As you leave the void, implementing your insights,
you will see the positive results of your inner work
begin to manifest.Love the void, for even though nothing seems to be
happening, it is a time when much inner work is being done. In the void you have the opportunity to create a new and higher future.
Times of uncertainty are also times of new possibilities. Go for it--reach for the stars!
Picture having everything you want.
You may even find yourself learning to love the void
for the opportunity it offers to take quantum leaps
and accelerate your growth.

Energy and Self Expression

Modern science , confirming a discovery of the ancient seers, tells us that the whole world is composed of energy. Planet Earth is teeming with an infinite multitude of forms--living forms like the tree and the child and ÂnonlivingØ forms like the crystal and the seashore--and each of these forms is a vast reservoir of latent and manifest energy.

Often that energy is hidden beneath the surface, where it lies unobserved and unknown until an event comes that releases it and brings it forth into self-expression. Then we suddenly become aware of an enormous power in potential. Archimedes demonstrated 2000 years ago the exhilarating energy of a new idea, when on making a great intellectual discovery he ran out of house naked shouting "Eureka! Eureka!" (I found it). Scientific experiments earlier in the last century first demonstrated the enormous physical energy pent up in each atom. Recent events in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and of course, 9/11, have revealed the awesome human energy of a long suppressed people surging to Freedom.

Accomplished Yogi’s and Yogini’s discover all these great sources of energy within them--the mental energy of a thinker, the emotional energy of a lover, the nervous energy of the explorer or warrior, and even the physical energy of the atom. They open to the Universal energies of life around them and come in contact with spiritual energies from higher planes of conscious existence. They discover a living, vibrant, warm, blissful energy in every contact and in all things. Blessed Be!

Energy is essential for accomplishment and fulfillment in any field of life. The results of our acts depend on our strength, and our strength depends on our energy. Energy is the fuel for all work, the basis for all achievements. The greater the energy, the greater the greater the achievement. That is why high energy people are the most successful. How is it that in spite of the vast energy that creates and pervades our being and the entire Universe, we as nature’s most evolved species so often experience its very opposites--fatigue, exhaustion , and incapacity? Where has all that energy gone? What has happened to the inexhaustible energy we had as children?

The answer, may be that we are still packed with that energy and it is available to anyone who seeks it. Children exhibit the natural energy which is in all human beings when they are born. It is not so much age that deprives us of this energy, but the things we collect along the way. The natural energy of our being is absorbed in our habits, opinions, preferences, attitudes, fears, and countless other ‘precious possessions’ which we gather and call our own. Each of these elements is a rigid form containing a deep pocket of energy. Break the form and the original energy pent up inside will get released. Just simply let’s start Loving Ourselves!

I have collected a little list of authors and musicians from which we can learn more about Energy. We hope to explore this question more in our Newsletter--60’s Splash, please help us with your own insights and subscribe and Email us your views and personal philosophies to: E-mail

Before Time Was

"Before time was, there was The One; The One was all, and all was The One. And the vast expanse known as the universe was The One, all-wise, all-prevading, all-powerful, eternally changing.
And space moved. The One molded energy into twin forms, equal but opposite, fashioning the Goddess and God from The One and of The One.
The Goddess and God stretched and gave thanks to The One, but darkness surrounded them. They were alone, solitary save for The One.
So They formed energy into gasses into suns and planets and moons; They sprinkled the universe with whirling globes and so all was given shape by the hands of the Goddess and God. Light arose and the sky was illuminated bya billion suns. And the Goddess and God, satisfied by their works, rejoiced and loved, and were one. From their union sprang the seeds of all life, and of the human race, so that we might achieve incarnation upon the Earth.
The Goddess chose the Moon as Her symbol, and the God the Sun as His symbol, to remind the inhabitants of Earth of their fashioners.
All are born, live, die and are reborn beneath the Sun and Moon; all things come to pass thereunder, and all occurs with the blessings of The One, as has been the way of existence before time was."

Auras

What is an Aura?
The human aura is an energy field that reflects the subtle life energies within the body. These energies make us what we are and in turn are affected by our surroundings and life style. The aura reflects our health, mental activity and emotional state. It also shows disease - often long before the onset of symptoms.
Close to the skin is the etheric aura. It is seen as a pale, narrow band that outlines the body, usually no more than half an inch wide. It looks like pale smoke clinging to the body. This is the visible part of the etheric body in it's contracted state. During sleep the etheric body expands greatly and opens to absorb and store cosmic energy. The etheric is better named the vitality sheath or energy body. After sleep it contracts, forming a dense sheath around the body close to the skin.

The main aura is banded around the body - strata like. Imagine a person with thick, coloured hoops of light dropped over them and you get the idea. These colours emanate from the chakras. Basic energy is drawn up from the planet through the feet and fed into the chakras, much like a plant does with water. Each chakra is a transformer that generates energy of a different type and colour. The strength of each chakra depends on the person's nature and life style. Together these chakras generate the dominant hue of the aura.
The main aura is photo-sensitive, it reacts and expands in light. The aura's chakra system can be likened to a tree. Energy/nutrient is drawn up through the feet/roots and fed through the body/trunk to the chakras/leaves.

Many experts suggest people can be classed by the basic hue, or the dominant colour, of their aura. For example, Blue means a highly spiritual person, trustworthy, honest. Orange means an emotional type of person etc... I have found this to be misleading. The aura is a complex and changeable engine and cannot be judged so simply.

The aura is sensitive to colour. It reacts to the colours of clothing and to that of its surroundings. This accounts for our natural likes and dislikes when it comes to choosing the colours that surround us.
The effect of colour on the emotions is well known and are they widely used in hospitals and institutions to calm agitated people and put them at ease. Pink is the most frequently used colour for this. It is the emotional colour of love and happiness. Watch a mother's aura when she first looks into the eyes of her new baby, and falls head over heels in love. At that special, happy moment, you will see this most lovely of auras in all its glory.

There is a whole science devoted to the use of colours. This is called Colour Healing or Colour Therapy.
It is impossible to get a clear view of the aura through clothing. The auric colours of the clothes react with the person's aura, causing interference that blocks and changes it. For example: A Blue shirt will flood the natural aura with Yellow. Even neutral coloured clothing will block and dim the aura making it difficult to see.

Common Aura Colors
The following is a list of aura colors that are associated with the
person's conscious and subconscious state. The color spectrum varies
with a person's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states.

Red: The color of strength, passion, impulsiveness and will.
Orange: Color of affection, kindness, and creativity. The muddier
shades denote vanity, while golden orange represents self-control.
Someone with orange in his/her aura may suffer from kidney troubles.

Yellow: Mental activity, optimism, perfectionism, responsibility,
sometimes shyness.

Green: The color of sympathy and reliability. The person may be an
effective healer. Dark shades of green however indicate one who is
jealous or hesitant.
Blue: The color of calm, and spiritual and material attainment. May
sometimes represent a tendency to moodiness and depression.
Indigo/Violet: The colors of the seeker who has inborn psychic and
intuitive abilities. They represent an astounding ability in the
handling of practical matters. Dark shades may show that the person
is often misjudged and misunderstood. May indicate heart or stomach
trouble.
Black: The color of self-protection. The person is good at 'wearing
masks'. Pink: A compassionate person who is fond of the arts. Darker
shades of pink may point to immaturity and irresponsibility.
White: Purity and honesty. A color associated with spiritually evolved
persons.
Silver: The person might be pregnant or is going to be soon! However,
this is not always so. Seeing this may indicate a person who is
allowing great creativity in their life.

Sometimes you experience the interplay of an outside energy field
upon your aura. You can tell this is happening to you in the following circumstances:
When you are around some people and you feel 'drained' and weak.
When you feel there is someone staring at you intensely.
When you have an instant liking or disliking for someone you've just
met.
When you sense someone's presence before you saw this person.

BOOKS & MUSIC

EARTH IN UPHEAVAL by Immanuel Velikovsky

In his best-selling book Earth in Upheaval, historian Immanuel Velikovsky gave an account of what might be expected when the Earth tilts on it's axis:
'Let us assume, as a working hypothesis, that under the impact of a force or the influence of an agent - and the Earth does not travel in an empty universe - the axis of the earth shifted or tilted. At that moment an earthquake would make the globe shudder. Air and water would continue to move through inertia; hurricanes would sweep the Earth, and the seas would rush over continents, carrying gravel and sand and marine animals, and casting them onto land. Heat would be developed, rocks would melt, volcanoes would erupt, lava would flow from fissures in the ruptured ground and cover vast areas. Mountains would spring up from the plains and would climb and travel upon the shoulders of other mountains, causing faults and rifts. Lakes would be tilted and emptied, rivers would change their beds; large land areas and all their inhabitants would slip under the sea. Forests would burn, and the hurricanes and wild seas would wrest them from the ground on which they grew and pile them, branch and root, in heaps. Seas would turn into deserts, their waters rolling away.
'And if the change in the velocity of the diurnal rotation [slowing the planet down] should accompany the shifting of the axis, the water confined to the equatorial oceans by centrifugal force would retreat to the poles, and high tides and hurricanes would rush from pole to pole, carrying reindeers and seals to the tropics and desert lions to the Arctic, moving from the equator up to the mountain ridges of the Himalayas and down the African jungles; and crumbled rocks torn from splintering mountains would be scattered over large distances; and herds of animals would be washed from the plains of Siberia. The shifting of the axis would change the climate in every place, leaving corals in Newfoundland and elephants in Alaska, fig trees in northern Greenland and luxuriant forests in Antarctica. In the event of a rapid shift of the axis, many species and genera of animals on land and in the sea would be destroyed, and civilizations, if any, would be reduced to ruins.
